Background:
He studied in the high school attached to the Central Academy of Fine Arts in high school and has solid painting skills and good hands-on skills. He is quite interested in the direction of architecture and interior architecture, but he knows almost nothing about the form of portfolio, application process, and time management that foreign universities want. I once lacked confidence in myself and didn't know my own advantages. We have formulated a detailed plan for it, including how to allocate preparation for TOEFL/IELTS, when to prepare documents, and how to choose a summer school based on interests. In the end, he helped him successfully apply for the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) summer school project for pre-experience and improvement.
Highlights and growth:
Comprehensive planning and time management: Under our suggestion, he gradually disassembled the language test, portfolio stage goals, document preparation and other links, and implemented them on a specific timetable to completely reverse the chaotic state of preparation for the exam. Quickly adapt to the requirements of overseas portfolio: RISD summer school helped him intuitively understand the curriculum style and homework requirements of foreign institutions, and also made him more aware of how to reflect the creative process and conceptual thinking through his works. Reshaping self-confidence and exploring advantages: The deep painting and modeling skills brought by the Central American Attached High School have become his most prominent “soft power” in his architectural and interior design works. During the counseling process, he learned to incorporate artistic expression into the design project to achieve the combination of function and aesthetics.
