Our Approach

At WedStudio, making art is both a form of expression and a way of thinking. Our teaching develops creativity, critical thinking and interdisciplinary understanding. We encourage students to explore the intersection of art, architecture and new media, using visual language to respond to the world. Each project gives equal weight to process and concept, helping students ask questions, develop a clear rationale and build their own narratives and methods.

Our Story

WedStudio was founded by mentors working across architecture, art and design, with a shared ambition to create an open, experimental learning environment with an international outlook. From individual mentoring to a teaching network spanning Toronto, Beijing and Boston, we have stayed true to one idea: creative work should communicate meaningful ideas.

We support students throughout their journey, from foundational training to building a portfolio and gaining admission to leading universities. WedStudio is also a growing creative community, where making, research and real-world experience inform one another, and art becomes a way to engage with the world.
